Our grid type resistor know as Zdex is economical, reliable, maintenance free and unbreakable. The resistor design makes it ideal for short time rated applications such as neutral earthing resistors, motor starting, speed regulation, dummy load testing, dynamic braking, traction, and hoist/crane control.
Standard design utilises alloy steel slit plate elements assembled together with mica (or ceramic) and micanite insulation. Supports come from M12 high tensile tie rods which strengthens the resistor bank. The resistor bank are tested to the latest BS and IEE standard suitable for working voltages of 750 Volts.
The Zdex is economical, reliable, durable, maintenance free and unbreakable. High current rating.
